All rights reserved.6 Voic Pro Overview Voic Pro is a server based application providing a variety of functions and features: Personal voic box for users and hunt groups Auto Attendant services Text-to-Speech facilities / reading Database integration with Interactive Voice Response (IVR) Unified Messaging Service (UMS) voic – synchronization Automatic and on demand call recording

The documentation can be found: Online at An offline copy of the IP Office Documentation CD can be downloaded from Technical Tips and Technical Bulletins are available on both the online Knowledgebase and the Avaya Support Web Site and should be reviewed prior to an installation or referenced while troubleshooting.

Voic Pro 6.0 can be installed with the following IP Office systems running Release 6.0 software: IP406 V2 IP412 IP Office 500 IP Office 500 Version 2

General Installation Requirements: PC with IP Office Manager An IP Office Feature Key, Smart Card or SD Card Licenses based on the serial number of the Feature Key Licenses for Voic Pro and any other components being installed Tip Turn off any PC hard disk sleep, power down, suspend or hibernations modes It may be necessary to modify antivirus / firewall settings for installation purposes.

The account being used to install applications must have rights / privileges to install software on the computer. Installing Avaya software with an account that does not have sufficient rights may lead to unexpected application behavior. Voic account permissions: Local account Domain account (used for applications requiring domain permissions) The account being used to install applications must have rights / privileges to install software on the computer.
