12 Nathan Beemer Director of Computing and Telecommunications Services Simplicity Users at Kansas State University who are currently deploying a production VoIP system using the Extreme Universal Port estimate that the module will initially save roughly $85 per handset in reduced labor costs "The value is in allowing clients to connect to any port without any intervention on the client or the support staff's part. 17 Simplicity Extreme Networks has saved us a lot of time –for example, on troubleshooting time alone. We have only five people to support all of our buildings, but everybody finds it so easy. Its very simple to work with, which allows us to focus on other things. Todd Costello IT Director Township of Middletown, NJ Voice of the Customer Page 17

23 Bob Mays Director, Network & Communications, Villanova University Agility Last year Villanova University partnered with Avaya and Extreme Networks to install an IP enabled PBX with VOIP capabilities. The relationship has worked extremely well and I am pleased with the support levels of both organizations. Benefits are the ability to manage both the voice and data networks using one platform, better utilization of staff as both the voice and data network teams can now troubleshoot the same network and it positions the university to begin saving long distance expenses when we start sending outbound calls over the internet.
