CSPFF v Outside Security 0 Inside Security 100 Statics and Conduits The static and conduit commands allow connections from a lower security interface to a higher security interface. The static command is used to create a permanent mapping between an inside IP address and a global IP address. The conduit command is an exception in the ASAs inbound security policy for a given host.
