15 PTL (Power Trunk Lid) 15 SectionVehicle Status Operation Mode Safety 1. Vehicle driving condition - Possible to open & close while stop only. : Vehicle speed is lower than 3 /h. 2. Detect an obstacle during operation (Motor restraint) - During Open : Closed by 50mm after stop - During Close : Fully opened 3. Switch on during operation- Stop operation immediately 4. Engine cranking during operating- Stop operation immediately Anti- Theft 1. In case of valet parking - Turn off the trunk main switch in the glove box : Impossible to open & close by motor 2. All door lock or pre arm mode status - Impossible to open by the trunk outside handle 3. By using RKE, open a trunk under the pre arm mode (ARM HOLD) - Hazard lamp blinks 2 times for warning open & close the trunk. PTL Operation Logic (Safety & Anti Theft)

Trunk AUTO OPEN (Fully open) Trunk AUTO CLOSE (Completely close) E-Latch & Power Striker locking Completion of initialization + Caution not to restrain the trunk while opening & closing by motor Trunk trim switch Trunk outside handle switch Stores the hall sensor pulse value of the motor in PTL control module (Set up OPEN angle) Initialization
