Mesh the solid using Hex elements. 4. Create a coordinate system that references specific nodes of the mesh. 5. Create a boundary condition in the new coordinate system. 6. Create material properties. 7. Create element properties. 8. Create a.bdf file. 9. Inspect the.bdf file and note the lack of node references for the coordinate system. 10. Modify the translation parameters in Patran and create another.bdf file. 11. Inspect the.bdf file and note the use of CORD1 entries.
