7 Conditional sentences are used when we speak about unreal actions that would take place under certain conditions. Conditional has two tenses: the present and the past. Conditional II is formed by auxiliary would and infinitive. Conditional III is formed by auxiliary would and present perfect. Conditional II expresses an action which would take place under certain conditions in the present or future. Conditional III expresses an action which would have taken place under certain conditions in the past.
8 Conditional II Conditional III If …the past simple (were)…, …would + infinitive …. If …the past perfect …, …would + the present perfect ….
9 I disagree with… As for me, I think… I dont think so. I have another opinion… I absolutely agree with…
10 If all the sea were one sea, What a great sea that would be! If all the trees were one tree, What e great tree that would be! And if all the axes were one axe, What a great axe that would be! And if all the men were one man, What a great man that would be! And if the great man took the great axe, And cut down the great tree, And let it fall into the great sea, What a splish-splash that would be!
