7 Impact of Tempus on quality assurance in higher education Development and approbation internal quality assurance models (EFQM, ISO 9000); Development of criteria and proceedings on external assessment compatible with ENQA standards; Establishment of first independent accreditation systems; Establishment of network on accreditation on regional level; External assessment and accreditation of Kyrgyz universities by European accreditation agencies. Direct involvement of Ministry of education and science Implementation at national level.
