3 First conditionals Используются для обозначения реальных действий в будущем e.g. If you read this report you will understand our economic situation much better. If clauseMain clause If/unless + Pr. SimpleWill + infinitive

4 Second conditionals Используются для обозначения воображаемых действий в будущем, которые невозможны или маловероятны e.g. If I went to Who wants to be a Millionaire? I would win a lot of money. If clauseMain clause If/unless + PastWould + infinitive

5 Third conditionals Используются для обозначения воображаемых действий в прошлом, которые могли бы произойти при определенных условиях e.g. If we had driven faster we would have crashed on that slippery road. If clauseMain clause If/unless + Past PerfectWould + Perfect infinitive

6 Mixed conditionals 1. Используются для обозначения воображаемых ситуаций в прошлом, которые могли бы иметь результат в настоящем e.g. If I had more self-confidence I would have applied for this job (… but I wasnt confident, so I havent). e.g. If the rescue team hadnt found him he would be dead (… but they found him, so he is alive).

7 Mixed conditionals 2. Используются для обозначения воображаемых ситуаций в настоящем, которые могли бы повлиять на результат в прошлом e.g. If Anna was here she would have known what to do (… but Anna isnt here, so she cant help us). e.g. If she didnt love driving she wouldnt have become a taxi driver (… she loves driving, so she became a taxi driver).
