2 Christmas is a traditional holiday, which is celebrated on the 25 of December. This holiday unites American and British people, relatives and friends.
4 Christmas is a time for parties, presents, traditional customs and eating. Christmas Eve is the time when the Christmas tree is usually decorated. The decorations stay on the tree for twelve days (until January 5th, also known as Twelfth Night ).

6 Santa Claus Santa Claus is an important person on Christmas. Santa climbs down the chimney. He usually put presents in the Christmas stockings.
7 The Christmas Tree that now spreads its lighted and decorated branches every year in so many different countries came originally from Germany. The first definite mention of it dates only from the early seventeenth century, but it is probable that it existed in some form or another well before that time.
