Environmental Protection Fulfilled: Student 9 - A class School 54 m. Lviv Palas Christina
Goal: - to consider all aspects of the environment; - the call to preserve nature; –to draw conclusions about the interconnection of man and nature;
Item No. 1: To preserve nature is the duty of everyone
From early childhood, we were taught how to treat nature with care: do not tread flowers, do not break the branches on trees, do not throw rubbish to the river or the pond. Unfortunately, not everyone understands that the world around them must be protected. And this applies not only to plants and reservoirs, land and air, but also animals and birds.
It's no secret to anyone, how much harm is caused by people in nature. Every year hundreds of hectares of forest are cut down, tons of waste are merged into the water, the air is polluted by emissions from factories. On the planet there are almost no places where nature would appear before us in its original beauty. How many species of plants and animals have disappeared on our Earth forever! Not less is on the verge of extinction and needs protection.
Plants, animals, earth - all this is the world of nature. And the person from it is inseparable.
Plants play the role of lungs, that is, they help the planet breathe.
Animals never without needing to eat a twig, grass, or other animals in order not to harm
A person occupies the upper bar in nature, so she must protect the surrounding world.
-The factories throw away tons of harmful chemicals. These emissions have damaging consequences for our planet. They are the main cause of the greenhouse effect and acid rain. -Because of felling or fires, our forests are disappearing. If this trend continues, then one day we will not have enough oxygen to breathe; we will never see a beautiful green forest.
Every ten minutes on our planet dies one species of animals, plants, or insects. If we do not do anything, then the ten million species of living organisms that are now living will soon disappear.
Even more of a threat is nuclear power plants. We all know the tragic consequences of the Chernobyl disaster.
Fortunately, it's not too late and we can solve these problems. We have time, money and technology to make our planet better, cleaner and safer. We can plant trees and create parks for animals at risk. We can recycle waste, persuade entrepreneurs to stop environmental pollution, because it is clear that our reckless use of fuel and chemicals destroys our planet and moreover, it is clear that we are destroying ourselves and our future.
The air, water and soil are necessary for the existence of all living beings. But contaminated air can cause illness and even death. Contaminated water kills fish and other marine animals. On contaminated soil, food crops can not be grown. In addition, environmental pollution destroys the natural beauty of our planet.
Item 2: Environmental Issues
Since ancient times nature has served man and is the source of his life. Thousands of years people lived in harmony with the environment. They thought that natural treasures were inexhaustible. But with the development of civilization, people began to increasingly interfere with nature....
. Each year, the global industry produces one million tons of dust and other harmful substances. A large number of cities suffers from smog. Huge forests are cut and burned. Their clogging violates the oxygen balance. As a result, some rare species of animals, birds, fish and plants disappear. Dries up many rivers and lakes
Air pollution and the global ocean, the destruction of the ozone layer is the result of careless handling of nature, a sign of the ecological crisis
Water pollution occurs when people overload the aquatic environment: streams, lakes, underground waters, gulfs and seas with wastes or substances harmful to living creatures....
Water is necessary for life. All organisms contain water, some drink it, some live in it. Plants and animals need relatively clean water. They will not survive if there are toxic chemicals or harmful microorganisms in the water. Water pollution kills a large number of fish, birds and other animals.
Pollution converts streams, lakes and coastal waters into places unnatural for food. People who drink contaminated water over a long period of time can get cancer, or it can affect their future children.
Conclusion: Unfortunately, the achievements of civilization, which provided people with a high level of comfort, gave rise to new threats. In the twenty-first century. the scale of these threats increase due to an increase in the population of the Earth, the exhaustion of reserves of natural resources, violation of the stability of the biosphere, accumulation of weapons of mass destruction. Some of these threats pose the question of the existence of man as a biological species. The only way to save mankind is to learn how to influence the causes of these threats, and not just to deal with the consequences.
Thank you!
