3 WHAT IS AN INVENTION? An invention is a unique or novel device, method, composition or process. It may be an improvement upon a machine or product, or a new process for creating an object or a result.
4 TO INVENT IS TO SEE ANEW. An invention is a new composition, device, or process. Some inventions are based on pre-existing models or ideas and others are radical breakthroughs. Inventions can extend the boundaries of human knowledge or experience.
5 INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY Some inventions can be patent legally protects the intellectual property rights of the inventor and legally recognizes that a claimed invention is actually an invention.
6 Developing of the idea. The idea for an invention may bedeveloped on paper or on acomputer, by writing or drawing, bytrial and error, by making models,by experimenting, by testing theinvention in its whole form.
7 THE HISTORY OF THE TELEPHONE In 1876 Alexander Graham Bell, an American engineer, invented telephone.
8 ALEXANDER GRAHAM BELL In the 1870s, two inventors Elisha Gray and Alexander Graham Bell both independently designed devices that could transmit speech electrically (the telephone). Both men rushed their respective designs to the patent office within hours of each other, Alexander Graham Bell patented his telephone first. Elisha Gray and Alexander Graham Bell entered into a famous legal battle over the invention of the telephone, which Bell won. The telegraph and telephone are both wire-based electrical systems, and Alexander Graham Bell's success with the telephone came as a direct result of his attempts to improve the telegraph.
9 Nicephore Niepce from France pioneered photography in Joseph Nicéphore Niépce was a French inventor, most noted as one of the inventors of photography and a pioneer in the field. He is well-known for taking some of the earliest photographs, dating to the 1820s. As revolutionary as his invention was, Niépce is little known even today.

11 The Lumière brothers:Auguste Marie Louis Nicolas (1862 – 1954)Louis Jean (1864– 1948) In 1895 the Lumiere brothers patented their cinematography and opened the worlds first cinema in Paris. The Lumière brothers were among the earliest filmmakers. Louis had made some improvements to the still-photograph process, the most notable being the dry-plate process, which was a major step towards moving images. The cinematograph itself was patented on 13 February 1895 and the first footage ever to be recorded using it was recorded on 19 March 1895.
12 The Wright brothers were two Americans who are generally creditedwith inventing and building theworld's first successful airplane andmaking the first controlled, poweredand sustained heavier-than-air humanflight, on December 17, In twoyears afterward, the brothersdeveloped their flying machine intothe first practical fixed-wing aircraft. Wilbur and Orville Wright built the first airplane in 1903 (USA).
13 László József Bíró was the inventor of themodern ballpoint pen. He presented the first production of the ballpen at the Budapest International Fair in1931. Working with his brother George, achemist, he developed a new tip consisting ofa ball that was free to turn in a socket, andas it turned it would pick up ink from acartridge and then roll to deposit it on thepaper. Bíró patented the invention in Parisin László József Bíró (1899 – 1985)
14 In 1907, James Murray Spangler, ajanitor in Canton, Ohio invented anelectric vacuum cleaner from a fan,a box, and a pillowcase. In 1908 James M. Spangler from the USA built the first vacuum cleaner.
15 John Logie Baird was a Britishengineer and inventor of theworld's first working televisionsystem, also the world's first fullyelectronic colour televisionbroadcast. Although Baird'selectromechanical system waseventually displaced by purelyelectronic systems his earlysuccesses demonstrating workingtelevision broadcasts and hiscolour and cinema televisionwork earn him a prominent placein television's invention. In 1908 US automobile manufacturer Henry Ford created the worlds first car assembly line.
18 Sir Alexander Fleming wasa Scottish biologist andpharmacologist. 19 Sergey Korolyov was the head Soviet rocketengineer and designer during the SpaceRace between the United States and theSoviet Union in the 1950s and 1960s. He isconsidered by many as the father ofpractical astronautics. Sergei Korolev (Russia) designed the first artificial satellite in 1957.

22 Sir Ian Wilmut is an English embryologist and is currentlyDirector of the MRC Centre for Regenerative Medicine at theUniversity of Edinburgh. He is best known as the leader of theresearch group that in 1996 first cloned a mammal from anadult somatic cell, a Finnish Dorset lamb named Dolly. Sir Ian Wilmut (born 7 July 1944) Scottish scientist Ian Wilmat developed the idea of cloning in 1997.
23 ROBOTS Today the automatic systems or so- called robots surround us everywhere. By the end of 21th century it is planned to build such robots that will be programed on implementation of any economic work, including to graze a dog and watch at back of house, when you at work. The use of robots is planned in soldiery aims, for example for clearing of minefield.
