2 Sir Winston Leonard Spencer- Churchill Sir Winston Leonard Spencer-Churchill is the British politician, the 61st prime minister of Great Britain in and the 63rd prime minister in when king George \/I reigned in Britain; the military man, the journalist, the writer, the honorary member of the British academy (1952), the Nobel prize winner under the literature (1953). According to poll, he has been named by the greatest British in the history spent in 2002 by the company of BBC.
3 The childhood Winston Churchill was born on November, 30th His father lord Randolph Spenser- Churchill was the known politician, a member of the House of Commons. Mother lady Randolph Churchill ( Jennie Jerome) was the daughter of the rich American businessman. The father and mother gave not enough attention to the son. Since 1875 nurse Elizabeth Anne Everest began to care about the child. She sincerely loved the boy and was one of the close people for Churchill.
4 The studing On June, 28th, 1893 Churchill passed examinations in the Royal military college in Sandhyorste. It was one of the most prestigious military colleges of Great Britain. In Sendhyorste he studied since September 1893 till December On February, 20th, 1895 Winston Churchill was appropriated the rank of the second lieutenant.
5 The beginning of political life In July, 1900 Churchill returned to England and soon again was proposed the nominee from Oldham. It outstripped the candidate from liberals on 222 voices and in 26 years for the first time became a member of the House of Commons. On elections conservatives received the majority and became party in power.
6 In the same year he published the novel "Savrola". Many people considered that the author represented the main character of the novel himself. On December, 12th, 1905 Winston Churchill was appointed to the post of assistant of minister of colonies. On February, 14th, 1910 at the age of 35 years Churchill became the Minister of Internal Affairs. Staying on a post of the minister became one of the most difficult stages in Churchill's political career. This period was remembered by mass actions. His actions were exposed to the rigid criticism on suppression of disorders.
7 Relations with Germany began to worsen. He made the memorandum of «military aspects of a continental problem» and gave it to the prime minister. This document was Churchill's doubtless success. It testified that Churchill, possessing rather modest military education, could quickly solve a number of important questions professionally. military
8 On October, 23rd Churchill was appointed the First Lord of Admiralty. He became one of architects with English Ten Year Rule. On August, 13th, 1942 he visited Moscow for a meeting with Stalin and signings of an Antihitlerite charter. On March, 5th, 1946 in Westminster college in Fulton Churchill said the Fulton speech which is considered to be a reference point of Cold war.
9 The death In October, 1951 Winston Churchill became again the prime minister when he was 77 years. His health was bad. Despite it, Churchill refused flatly to resign or at least to pass in Chamber of lords, reserved a post of the prime minister only nominally. Churchill died on January, 24th, Under the order of the queen he was arranged a seeing-off under the higher state category in St. Pavel's Cathedral. According to the wish of the politician he was buried on a cemetery in Blejdone.
