3 Traditional Food The easiest place to find traditional English food is in one of the endless number of pubs across United Kingdom. The most important meal of the day is breakfast. The traditional English breakfast is a fried breakfast. Usually it consists of scrambled eggs on toast with bacon, sausage, baked beans. Additionally the brits may serve jam and muffins.
4 For lunch British people may have fish and chips or alternatively sandwiches which are available in every cafй and grocery store. There is also Ploughman's lunch, which is bread with cheese and pickles. Around 4PM British people definitely need their afternoon tea. The tea itself is usually served with milk or lemon. There are endless places in London where afternoon tea is served. Traditional Food
5 Usually the afternoon tea is a total meal with cucumber sandwiches, cakes and muffins. An important English speciality is the rollers scones, which are usually filled with jam and cream. For dinner there are several alternatives for a traditional british meal. Try Kidney pie, Shepherds Pie, roatbeaf and yorkshire puddiing. The desserts are very interesting. Try e.g. a bread and buttor pudding or a summer pudding.
