4 This committee is designed to: 1. Provide GATE program information, events, and opportunities for GATE students at Colton High School. 2. To promote academic excellence among the members, leading to higher education.

8 Membership To become a member you must pay a membership fee of only $10. This gives the club a financial foundation. You must also be a G.A.T.E. identified student with a least a 2.0 Grade Point Average.
9 Scholarships Three senior students will be selected to be recipients of the clubs scholarships. The three students must obtain a 3.5 GPA for their senior year. These students are ones who were selected by the committee because they have shown responsibility, determination, and have upheld the purpose of this committee.
10 Community Involvement All students are to participating in events that help the community. Small Group Volunteers We can create small teams of four or five students to go out and do volunteer work as a group.
