3 2008 year NANOTECHNOLOGY IN FOUNDRY New modifiers generation (NMG), created by «Modifiers and new metals generation» company, are considered to be an invention in the nanotechnology use in foundry. NMG has great prospects for their use in such fields as: mechanical engineering, electrotechnology, shipbuilding, radio engineering, construction engineering, aircraft industry, space-system engineering and the others.
4 In NMG there are used over 30 composite components, that enhance mechanical and strengthening characteristics of steel, cast iron, base metals foundry The special technology of NMG makes possible to get cast iron with of steel and other materials characteristics. 7 2008 year NANOTECHNOLOGY IN FOUNDRY Modifiers of new generation enhance quality characteristics of cast iron: 1,5-2 mechanical characteristics increase due to lack of microcracks in completed articles, as well as gas and non- metal inclusions, cement constituent along the edges and along the whole section of foundry, casting strain, also due to uniformity and fine-dyspersated close-packed structure of cast iron 1,3-1,5 mechanical characteristics increase and increase of product life due to enhance of strength and thickness of cast iron While machining process the rate of speed increases 3-4 times more, consumption of metal-cutting tool decreases 4-5 times less
