The name of my Angel Prezentation of Stolyarova Kseniya
Precursors to the American Mother's Day Precedents for the currently observed "Mother's Day" include: "Mothering Sunday" in the UK and Ireland is on the fourth Sunday of Lent. It was originally a time when Catholics were supposed to travel to attend Mass in their "Mother Church" (the regional cathedral) rather than in their local parish. By the Reformation, it had changed into an occasion for children to visit parents. An 1854 source mentions a couplet: "On 'Mothering Sunday,' above all other/Every child should dine with its mother." "Mother's Day Work Clubs" organized by Anna Jarvis's mother, Ann Maria Reeves Jarvis ( ), to improve sanitation and health in the area. These clubs also assisted both Union and Confederate encampments controlling a typhoid outbreak, and conducted a "Mothers' Friendship Day" to reconcile families divided by the Civil War. The "Mother's Day" anti-war observances founded by Julia Ward Howe in 1872
A day before the birth a child asked the God: -I dont know, why I go to this world. What should I do? -The God answered: -I will meet you an Angel wholl always be nearby you. He will explain all to you.
-But how shall I understand him if I dont know his language? -The Angel will teach you the language. He will protect you from all troubles.
-How and when should I return to you? -Your Angel will tell you.
-And what is the name of my Angel? -It is not important what his name is, he has a lot of names. You will name your Angel «Mum».
M-O-T-H-E-R (Theodore Morse and Horward Johnson) When I was but a baby, Long before I learned to walk, While lying in my cradle, would try my best to talk.
It wasn't long before I spoke, And all the neighbors heard. My folks were very proud of me For "mother" was the word.
Although I'll never lay a claim to fame, I'm satisfied to sing her lovely name:
"M" is for the million things she gave me. "0" means only that she's growing old. "T" is for the tears she shed to save me. "H" is for her heart of purest gold. "E" is for her eyes, with love lights shining. "R" means right, and right she'll always be.
Put them all together; they spell "mother," A word that means the world to me.
"M" is for the mercy she possesses. "0" means that I owe her all I own. "T" is for her tender sweet caresses. "H" is for her hands that made a home. "E" means everything she's done to help me. "R" means real and regular, you see.
Put them all together; they spell "mother," A word that means the world to me.
