He was born in the village of Mizgiri of Sovetsky district of the Kirov region and studied at school of the village of Suvodi. He started his military service in 1939 near Blagoveshchensk.

In autumn 1941 my great grandfather's division was sent to the front. He was at the Great Patriotic War on the 1st Belarusian front as a sergeant.

He participated in release of Warsaw, Poznan. He took Berlin!
