3 In , about 17 million people were evacuated industrial enterprises were transported only by rail. About 70% of them were placed in the Urals, Western Siberia, Middle Asia and Kazakhstan.

4 115 plants and factories were evacuated to our town – Kirov. All of them were reoriented on the defensive industry.
