2 Russia is my country. It is the biggest country in the world. It is situated on two continents: Europe and Asia.

3 There are 1030 towns and cities in Russia. Moscow is the capital. Its population is about 9 million people. Its the largest political, scientific, cultural and industrial centre.

4 The population of Russia is 142 million people. More than 100 nationalities live in our country. Its total area is about 17 million square kilometers.

5 The country is washed by 12 seas and 3 oceans: the Pacific, the Arctic and the Atlantic.

6 The Black Sea, the White Sea, the Barents Sea, the Laptevs Sea, the Okhotsk sea are the largest ones.
