Задачи урока: Развить умения и навыки устной и письменной речи. Обобщить самостоятельное описание картинки, используя лексику по теме «Sports games» Воспитать интерес к иностранному языку. Развить память, мышление.

Exercise number 1 «Auction» People all over the world are fond of sport games. Many people do sports on their personal initiative. They go info skiing, skating, tennis, swimming, volleyball, football, basketball, body-building. Sport is paid much attention to in our schools. Physical training is a compulsory subject. All my friends go in for different kinds of sport, such as water sports (that is swimming, sailing), gymnastics, wrestling, boxing, football, basketball, volleyball. The most popular kinds of sports in the United States are baseball, basketball and American football. In England the popular kinds of sports are golf and rugby. Englishmen like football too. The most popular kinds of sports in the Russian Federation are football, snowball, skate, basketball, volleyball, tennis, chess and hockey.
