© 2009 Avaya Inc. All rights reserved.5 UMS IMAP Installation Requirements The IMAP server is installed as a standard part of the Voic Pro Service installation. IMAP uses the IP address of the Voic Pro server PC and runs on the standard IMAP port 143. Users and Hunt Groups licensed for UMS Web Services can utilize the IMAP service. The process for configuring Users and Hunt Groups in Manager for the IMAP service is the same as the configuration for the UMS Web Services.
© 2009 Avaya Inc. All rights reserved.6 Configuring an Account The exact method of configuring the account for IMAP depends on the client used. Outlook Example – Select Tools and then Options – Select Mail Setup and click Accounts – Add a new account – Select IMAP as the server type – In Server Information for Incoming Mail server and Outgoing mail server enter the IP address or the domain name of the Voic Pro server PC. – In Logon Information enter the users extension number and the voic code as the User Name and Password.
