There are different kinds of shops. This is a shop where You can buy clothes – dresses, skirts and blouses for women and suits, shirts and trousers for men.
This is a shoe shop. Here we buy shoes, loafers, boots, sandals and slippers.
This is a bookstore. Here we can buy different books and magazines for children and adults.
This is a bakery. Here they sell bread, buns, cakes and cookies.
It is very beautiful in a florist's shop. They sell flowers and arrange bouquets here.
a supermarket
A supermarket is a big store, where they sell different goods.
We put all the goods into the trolley in the supermarket and then pay money for them.
a drugstore
In the drugstore we buy medicine and vitamins.
a library
There are a lot of books in the library. You can borrow and read them at home.
There are so many books in this library that they are placed on several floors.
an airport
When we want to fly somewhere on a plane, we come to the airport.
A plane takes off and lands on the landing bands, such broad band exists in every airport.
This is a planes salon.
People piloting planes are called pilots.
There are always stewardesses in planes salons, who bring the passengers meal, drinks, newspapers and answer their questions.
a railway station
We can also travel by train. This is a platform for boarding and debarkation.

We come to a bus terminal, if we decide to travel by bus.
a gas station
We use a gas station, if we travel by car. Here we pour fuel in our car.
a hospital
We go to a hospital if we feel ill.
Physicians work in hospitals.
A physician, who cures teeth, is called stomatologist.
A physician, who cures animals, is called veterinary.
If someone is seriously ill, he has to lie in a hospital chamber under doctors observation.
Nurses look after patients in hospitals, they also help the physicians.
a restaurant
We go to the restaurant to have a tasty meal.
There are also fast food restaurants. Here we can eat quickly and inexpensively.
McDonalds - is the most known fast food restaurant.
a hairdressers
At a hairdressers we have our hair cut or done.
