Direct Speech Reported Speech She says: I phone my friends every day She says: I will phone you tomorrow She says: I phoned you an hour ago She says (that) she phones her friends every day She says (that) shell phone me tomorrow She says (that) she phoned me an hour ago
Statements / Утвердительные При изменении прямой речи в косвенную соблюдаются следующие правила: Запятая и кавычки исчезают. Все личные и притяжательные местоимения изменяются в зависимости от лица, от которого ведется речь. Возможен союз that. E.g.: She says: I phoned you an hour ago E.g.: She says (that) she phoned me an hour ago
Statements / Утвердительные При переводе из прямой речи в косвенную в первую очередь следует обращать внимание на грамматическое время глагола в главном предложении (Она говорит.../ Она сказала…). Если в главном предложении глагол употреблен в настоящем времени (says, asks, answers…), в придаточном предложении (как и в русском языке)английский глагол не изменяется во времени. Если есть дополнение, то to say tell says to Olga tells Olga said to Boris told Boris E.g.: She says: I will phone you tomorrow. E.g.: She says (that) she will phone me tomorrow.
Statements / Утвердительные Если сказуемое главного предложения имеет форму прошедшего времени, то сказуемое придаточного предложения обычно также имеет одну из форм прошедшего времени. General Questions (Yes/No-?) Общие вопросы Для передачи в косвенной речи вопросов чаще всего используются следующие глаголы: asked, wanted to know, wondered. Общие вопросы вводятся союзами if, whether. В вопросах соблюдается прямой порядок слов. E.g.:Do you play tennis well? She asked me if I played tennis well.
Wh-questions Специальные вопросы Специальные вопросы вводятся специальными вопросительными словами(союз if не используется) E.g. How did you know about my birthday? He wondered how I had known about his birthday.
Reported Speech. Commands. Косвенная речь. Повелительное наклонение. Для передачи в косвенной речи предложений в повелительном наклонении используются глаголы: ask, advise, order, remind, teach, tell, warn и другие в Present Simple или Past Simple. E.g.: My mother often says: Help your brother. My mother often asks me to help my brother. Dont be late! said the teacher. The teacher warned us not to be late.
