The network configuration and services that are required by Cisco CallManager Express include proper switch configuration, DHCP, and NTP. Transcoding resources need to be configured when a mismatch in supported codecs is encountered. This module describes the bootup and registration processes that occur in the IP Phone when registering to Cisco CallManager Express. The Cisco CallManager Express system can be configured in various ways by using ephones and ephone-dns in different ways. This module describes the files that are needed in order to install and manage the Cisco CallManager Express system and the forms in which the files can be downloaded. The Cisco CallManager Express system can be deployed in three ways: automated, partially automated, and manually.
