There are three main sources of air pollution: industry, domestic boilers, transport.

Рollution of atmosphere is a result of emissions from industry, transport and other enterprises dust and heavy metals.

The natural sources include: volcanoes, dust storms, forest fires, dust, cosmic origin, sea salt particles, products of plant, animal and microbial origin.

Large share of air pollution emissions constitute harmful substances from cars. One passenger car absorbs from the atmosphere each year, on average more than 4 tons of oxygen, releasing the exhaust gases of about 800 kg carbon monoxide and about 40 kg of nitrogen oxides and various almost 200 kg hydrocarbons.
