Authoritarian parents have high expectations of their children and have very strict rules that they expect to be followed unconditionally. Authoritarian parents: Have strict rules and expectations. Very demanding, but not responsive. Utilize punishments with little or no explanation. Don't give children choices or options. The children of authoritarian parents: Tend to associate obedience and success with love. Some children display more aggressive behavior outside the home.

If we were a parent, we will choose democratic style of parenting. In family we should take into account opinions and wishes of each member of family. In each family there must be LOVE, RESPECT, TRUST, EQUALITY and UNDERSTANDING. Only then the family will be obtain a well being.
