The Natural History Museum Краеведческий Музей We have a Natural History Museum in the local club. There are 3 halls in the museum. There we can see not only the history of the village Bogorodskoe, but whole Ulchsky region. В местном клубе находится краеведческий музей. В музее 3 зала где вы можете узнать не только историю Богородского, но также Ульчского района.

The museum was opened by Prokopy Vasilievich Lonki, he began to collect the first exhibits in 60-s years. Some of the exhibits were made by himself. For example, the Ulchsky toy – delde. He carved it from the wood. He moved from one village to another and explained people the importance of the museum, its tasks and reasons for foundation. Музей был открыт Прокопием Васильевичем Лонки, он начал собирать ещё в шестидесятые годы, некоторые сделаны им самим. Такие как ульчская игрушка – дэлдэ. Он вырезал её из дерева. Он ездил из поселка в поселок и объяснял людям важность и задачи создания музея.

He found old native people such as Dyatala Kulike, who brought the ancient dolls – Khakuan, and and her birch bark boxes to the museum. In the first hall we can learn about the history of Ulchsky region the way of life on Ulchi people, about there culture and art. We see some spiritual amulets. Which saved people from angry spirits. The visitors are attracted by the part of old Ulchsky house, and the exhibit the old settlement of Ulchy. В первом зале мы можем узнать об истории Ульчского района, быта ульчей, о их культуре и искусстве. Здесь можно увидеть амулеты от злых духов. Внимание посетителей привлекает часть дома ульчей, и ульчское стойбище – Тенча.

The second hall is devoted to the period of the Great Patriotic War. There local children have meetings with the veterans of the War. There are many exhibits of that period, old samovar, military plates, the things belonged to the soldiers. Второй зал посвящен периоду Великой Отечественной Войны. Здесь Школьники встречаются с ветеранами Войны. В зале много экспонатов этого периода, старые самовары, военная утварь, солдатские котелки.

The third hall tell us about the economic development of the region, there best people and now days of the Ulchsky region. There is a fine collection of stone and interesting exhibition of fish. Третий зал рассказывает об экономическом развитии Района, и лучших людях земли Ульчия. Здесь прекрасная коллекция камней и интересная выставка рыб.
