3 Micro-summary of present Higgs searches in ATLAS

excluded 131

Summaries We observe an excess of events around mH~ 126 GeV: Local significance 3.6 σ Global significance ~2.3σ ATLAS CMS We are not able to exclude the presence of the SM Higgs below 127 GeV since we observe a modest excess of the events between 115 and 127 GeV The excess is most compatible with a SM Higgs in the vicinity of 124 GeV and below But the statistical significance is not large enough to say anything conclusive.
