The Tower bridge

The Tower Bridge is one of the most imposing and popular of London's historical sites. It has stood over the River Thames in London since 1894 and is one of the finest, most recognizable bridges in the world.

Bridge architects Horace Jones, the City Architect, in collaboration with John Wolfe Barry. Tower Bridge is 60 meters long with towers that rise to a height of 43 meters. To better protect metal constructions from corrosion, the towers were lined with stone, architectural style, the building is Gothic.
