ENERAZ – construction of gas stations. Wiring and installation of natural gas tubes of high, medium and low pressure. Wiring of high and low pressure lines and half-stations construction. EKOAZ – loading, carriage and delivery of industrial and household waste to special areas for further disposal.

There are numerous safety signs and notices posted throughout the site, that are used to convey important information to you about our workplace, and assist in keeping it safe.. Typically these signs indicate the locations of Exits, Evacuation Routes, Muster Points, Fire Fighting Equipment, Eyewash Stations, Life Saving Appliances, First Aid Kits and Electrical Panels and miscellaneous other aspects.. Specifically, these signs are intended to either WARN, INFORM, or ADVISE you, and generally fall into one of 4 categories (with standard shaped logos and coloring) Compulsory Actions (eg wearing of minimum PPE) Existing Hazards (eg Forklift Operations), Prohibited Actions (eg No Smoking), And Safety / Emergency Equipment (eg Emergency Eyewash)

Minimum site PPE requirements are: Hard hat Coveralls with long sleeves (for industrial activities) Safety Footwear Safety Glasses Gloves (for all personnel involved in any manual / heavy work or where they may be handling or exposed to hot / cold materials, petroleum products, chemicals, electrical circuits, abrasives or materials with sharp edges) PPE must be worn at all times unless you are: In PPE exempt areas Inside offices Inside vehicles (Maximum speed limit for vehicles 10 km/h) Crossing the plant area directly to the plant office, using the designated PPE Exempt Access, and only if safe to do so at the time.

Minimum PPE requirements (described in a later slide) apply EVERYWHERE ON SITE, except in offices and vehicles, and when using the PPE Exempt Pathway. The pathway starts at the Security Main Gate and runs through the area directly to Azeri Steel plant office You can also use the pathway to get to the Site Canteen by crossing the road between the Security Main Gate and Plant Office building

Visitors must undergo the Visitors Brief HSE Induction and comply with all on-site PPE and safety requirements If you receive Visitors YOU are responsible for their safety and must ensure they are accompanied at all times during their stay on our premises Visitors will be issued with a site access pass on arrival Visitors must not engage in any physical work activity (and that includes using any type of tool or equipment!) Visitors must obtain prior management permission before taking photographs on site You should inform Visitors of any scheduled Drills or exercises (eg the Weekly Alarm Test) Remember that we all have a duty to protect Visitors!

The Canteen is located at the Garadaghbeton Office and is within the site controlled area. The Canteen operates at the times listed below and has a varied menu including local food Lunch Break – to Hrs Note that all personnel are required to sign a register whenever meals are taken at the Canteen and that a food / waste management program has been established It is permitted to wear work clothes within the Canteen provided they are not excessively soiled..

Good Housekeeping requires: Workplaces are kept in an orderly condition, free of trip hazards eg tools, equipment, cables, hoses, and spills Waste material be removed from the site asap and disposed of correctly Flammables, chemicals and hazardous materials are stored appropriately in designated areas, with restricted access and suitable safety signage Escape / access routes to safety, firefighting and survival equipment, are kept clean and unobstructed at all times Smoking areas are designated and strictly enforced PPE is stored appropriately, away from eating and recreational areas ITS EVERYONES RESPONSIBILITY to maintain high standards of personal hygiene and housekeeping and to ensure their workplace is in a clean and orderly condition

While on site, NEVER: Take short cuts, cross barriers, ignore safety signage or enter prohibited areas without authorisation Indulge in Horseplay, wrestling or practical jokes, as they can cause injuries and damage property Ignore Slip, Trip or Fall Hazards Run (other than in an extreme emergency) Interfere with fire fighting or life saving equipment Use mobile phones while driving, crossing roads, transiting hazardous work areas, using stairs or operating equipment And ALWAYS keep your hands firmly on the rails (3 points of contact) as you traverse stairs as hand trailing prevents serious injury!
