It is widely known that education helps to form the personality and prepares one for life. That is why all countries consider the system of education a very important part of national politics. In Russia, everyone has the right to receive education guaranteed by the Constitution. In Russia there is nine-year compulsory education, but to enter a university one has to study two years more. School starts at the age of six for Russian children. But most of them have learned letters in kindergarten which is now part of primary school. Primary and secondary schools together comprise eleven years of study

We Hi, We are the students of school 45 We have been studying here for 10 years already. We are friendly and creative. We would like to tell you about our school. Let us begin…

We are pupils of the 10 form. We go to school five days a week. Our classes start at 8 a.m. and last till 2 p.m. So we have 6 or 7 lessons a day. We study many different subjects: Russian, English, German, literatures, history, geography, biology, physics, chemistry, mathematics, programming and computer Actually, we think that school is not only an educational institution, but it is a society where we learn to communicate with each other, to make friends, to be leaders; this is the place where we form our characters, become stronger and self- confident and learn how to overcome the difficulties

The professors of Saratov University come to us to read the lectures about economics!

The day of local governments. Every year of 5 th of October the pupils of 9-11 forms give lessons as teachers. Sometimes its very funny!

On the 25 th of May in all schools of Russia sounds Last Bell. Pupils for the 9 and 11 forms. It means the beginning of exams.

In June, 2011, we passed our exams and successfully finished the 9 th form.4 of our students got only excellent marks in their Certificates.

We also help to clean the nearby square and park. We like our school. And we want it to be clean and tidy

Every spring our school takes part in The Day of Kindness. Last year we bought many balloons and gave them to the children walking in the park

Annually our country celebrate the Day of Victory in the World War II. We know how much those young soldiers have done for our peaceful life. Now they are very old people. We come to the veterans to congratulate them upon this great holiday.

Everybody likes sport. School 45 has got good sport traditions. Many our students go in for sports. We also take part in different school sport competitions

The Week of English Language

The students of different countries come to Saratov to study the culture of Russia and tell about the traditions of their countries. Students from Brazil, China and India come to our school. We meet not only at school but on the skating-rink, in the park and etc.

All of us want to be healthy. Thats why, we are against bad habits. In our graffities we tried to explain people that life is wonderful without drugs and smoking.

In October and December 2011 the pupils of our school took part in school events : Miss Autumn and Mister Santa Claus.

And Aleksandr Michurin became the best Santa Claus of 2011
