Sir Joshua Reynolds (16 July 1723 – 23 February 1792) He was an English painter, specializing in portraits. He was one of the major European painters of the 18th century.

Sir Anthony van Dyck ( 22 March 1599 – 9 December 1641) Van Dyck was the most important Flemish painter of the 17th century. Van Dyck was an extremely successful portraitist and painter of religious and mythological pictures in Antwerp and Italy.

Michelangelo di Lodovico Buonarroti Simoni (6 March 1475 – 18 February 1564) He was an Italian sculptor, painter, architect and poet of the High Renaissance.

Rembrandt Harmenszoon van Rijn (July 15, 1606 – October 4, 1669) He was Dutch draughtsman, painter and printmaker. He is generally considered one of the greatest visual artists in the history of art.
