My favourite genre of painting is impressionism. Impressionism is a 19 th century art movement that originated with a group of Paris-based artists. Representatives of this movement was developing methods and techniques for bright depicting real world in its mobility and variability, for sending their fleeting impressions. Impressionism focuses on superficiality, fluidity moments, mood lighting or viewing angle.
My favourite painting of impressionism is "Impression. Rising Sun by Claude Monet. This painting gave the name to the artistic direction of "impressionism. The object of the image became a port of Le Havre, which is only slightly depicted with light strokes, so port faintly notable. Artist has painted the sun and sky equally dim that sends to viewer feeling of damp air and morning twilight. The sun's reflection in water and light are represented in same colors. If you make a picture black and white, these images almost disappear from the canvas.
Claude Oscar Monet born on November 14, 1840 He became an artist by will of fate thousand francs which he won in the lottery, have allowed him to leave the job and devote himself to painting. School was always similar to prison for him. He spent more time in the water and on the rocks than in the classroom. Claude Monet's parents were extremely stingy, so to earn pocket money, Monet in 14 years began to draw caricatures of people.
In 1912, Claude Monet was diagnosed double cataract, but he didnt leave drawing. He lost lens on the left eye, but was able to see ultraviolet light as blue or purple, and his paintings have gained in new colors. For example, when Monet was painting "Water Lilies", he saw bluish lily in the ultraviolet range, in contrast to ordinary people for whom they were just white.
