1 group 1.This is a sabre-tooth tiger. 2.Sabre –tooth tigers were very dangerous. 3. They lived from about 3 million years ago until about ten thousand years ago. 4. They disappeared because the climate changed and because people hunted them. 5. They were the same size as lions.
2 group They walked on four legs and they had very powerful front legs. They had very long teeth. The teeth were 20 centimetres long. Sabre –tooth tigers were meat-eaters. They lived in forests and near rivers where plant-eaters lived.
3 group They didnt run fast so they hunted animals that moved slowly. They climbed trees and then they jumped on animals. They ate mammoth, rhinos and other animals. They lived together in groups. We know about sabre-tooth tigers because scientists found lots of their bones. Cave people also painted pictures of-sabre- tooth tigers.

They had big bodies and were 3.5 (three and half) metres long. They had small ears. They lived in grasslands. We know about them because scientists found bones and pictures in caves.
