The presentation of information can be carried out using languages that are sign systems. Each sign system is built on the basis of a certain alphabet and the rules for performing operations on signs.
Coding is the operation of converting signs or groups of characters of one sign system into signs or groups of signs of another sign system. Decoding is the reverse process.
The identification of information is the process of forming a certain representation of information. In the narrower sense, the term "coding" is often understood as the transition from one form of presentation of information to another, more convenient for storage, transmission or processing. Usually each image is encoded (sometimes referred to as an encoding) by a separate sign. A sign is an element of a finite set of distinct from each other Elements.

In computing, a character encoding is used to represent a repertoire of characters by some kind of encoding system.Depending on the abstraction level and context, corresponding code points and the resulting code space may be regarded as bit patterns, octets, natural numbers, electrical pulses, etc. A character encoding is used in computation, data storage, and transmission of textual data. Character set, character map, codeset and code page are related, but not identical, terms.
The Latin character set is used by English and most European languages, though the Greek character set is used only by the Greek language.
A character is a minimal unit of text that has semantic value. A character set is a collection of characters that might be used by multiple languages. A coded character set is a character set in which each character corresponds to a unique number. A code point of a coded character set is any legal value in the character set. A code unit is a bit sequence used to encode each character of a repertoire within a given encoding form.
The information contained in the binary code, alphabetic, consists of two digits 0 and 1. Each digit of the machine binary code contains the amount of information in the 1 bit.
It is a sign system in which the numbers are written according to certain rules with the help of symbols of some alphabet, called numbers
Computer graphics - the section of computer science, the subject of which is working on a computer with graphic images. Creation and storage of graphic images is possible in several forms - in the form of a raster, vector or fractal image.
Raster Bitmap images are represented as a grid (grid), the cells of which are called pixels. Each pixel (grid cell) has a specific position and color (a color value). The Vector A vector image is formed from mathematical lines (lines and curves), called vectors. The appearance of the image is determined by the geometric characteristics of the vectors. Vector images are coded by mathematical formulas.
- The size of the raster grid given as a product of M x N, where M is the number of points horizontally, N is the number of points vertically. The higher the resolution, the better the image quality. The number of colors reproduced on the screen and the number of bits allocated to the video memory for each pixel (color depth) are correlated by the formula: 2a = K Where a is the color depth K is the number of colors
Coding information - is the process of forming a specific presentation of information. In a narrower sense, the term "coding" is often understood as the transition from one form of presentation of information to another, more convenient for storage, transmission or processing. Typically, each image is encoded (sometimes called encryption). A sign is an element of a finite set of distinct from each other elements. In the narrower sense, the term "coding" is often understood as the transition from one form of presentation of information to another, more convenient for storage, transmission or processing. A computer can only process information presented in numerical form. All other information (for example, sounds, images, instrument readings, etc.) for processing on a computer must be converted to a numerical form.
