CREATION OF THE LEGAL BASIS FOR CONSTRUCTION UNDER THE NATO STANDARDS AND DEVELOPMENT INNOVATIVE CONSTRUCTION TECHNOLOGIES FOR BUILDING FORTIFICATION AND PROTECTING OBJECTS IN UKRAINE DUE TO COUNTER-TERRORISM.

WHO WE ARE? research in the field of design and construction technologies of fortification of using a new generation facilities under the NATO standards; elaboration of the innovative methods of design and construction; development of reconstruction and restoration of monuments, preservation of ancient architectural heritage; creation of the new solutions of urban design problems. Our team is Research Institute of Theory and History of Architecture, Urban Planning and Design, Kyiv, Ukraine. Areas of our organizational activity are the following: development of a new regulatory framework and norms for construction of Ukraine based on European standards;

THE SITUATION TODAY Construction of the fortification wall between Ukraine and Russia Guards barracks in the village of Dnipropetrovsk region, which must live Ukrainian paratroopers before being sent to the ATO zone.

THE SITUATION TODAY Military construction standards in Ukraine are not met or the building technologies are hopelessly outdated. The current Ukrainian military construction standards are 1938, 1939, 1941, 1943 years. In this case, Ukraine needs the implementation of modern NATO standards against obviously obvious Russian aggression urgently.

THE SITUATION TODAY In May, 2016, the territorial bodies of the State Architectural and Construction Inspection of Ukraine registered 160 declarations in the beginning of civil engineering fortifications to strengthen the defense capability of Ukraine.The inspection noted that 107 declarations are related to the construction of fortifications in Donetsk region, 34 – in Lugansk, 13 - in Poltava, one - in Dnipro, Lviv, Rivne, Zaporizhia, Nikolaev, and Zhitomir regions. Thus, inappropriate to modern standards fortifications will be spread all over Ukraine and in a foreseen future as well.

OUR GOALS FOR THE RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT PROJECT: - Development, adaptation and implementation of the military construction standards in Ukraine based on NATO standards. - Our project is addressed to the highly relevant topic in the current political situation for Ukraine and for our European neighbors. It strengthens the defensive military, industrial cooperation and creation of the defensive guard between eastern borders of Europe. The project increases the defense capability of Ukraine as a future EU member. - The creation of an international working group of this project is the great possibility to join the innovative technologies of fortifications research in Ukraine that can be coordinated by the actions of NATO members. In addition, this will allow us to learn the foreign experience of this problem, as well as to complete the development of a new APSCtechnology that can be useful for NATO countries too.

HOW ARE WE GOING TO ACHIEVE THE RESULTS ? - We want to create a joint working group on the integration of military and construction system of Ukraine in general fortification system in Europe. We are looking forward to sharing experience and expertise, cooperation with European research institutes and military experts. We are ready to conduct joint research of innovative construction technologies based on the European construction standards. - To develop the technology we attract specialized professionals for software development, drones, construction of 3D printing and collect all their knowledge into a single system. We carry out field tests.

OUR BIG IDEA Under this project, we will not only standardize fortification, but also create innovative industrial complex that will allow us to build a protective field objects APSC at a high threat of war quickly, efficiently and safely. The field facilities of Automated Parametric System Construction will include software and mobile construction equipment which is controlled remotely. *equipment models in the figures are taken as an example
