Easter Monday is celebrated the day after Easter Sunday. Unlike Easter Sunday, Easter Monday is not a religious celebration.

The Easter Bunny is a character depicted as a rabbit bringing Easter eggs. The Easter Hare originally played the role of a judge, evaluating whether children were good or disobedient in behaviour at the start of the season of Eastertide. In legend, the creature carries colored eggs in his basket, candy and sometimes also toys to the homes of children.

Egg hunt is a game during which decorated eggs, real hard- boiled ones or artificial, filled with or made of chocolate candies, of various sizes, are hidden in various places for children to find.

In the UK Easter is one of the major Christian festivals of the year. It is full of customs, folklore and traditional food.
