Madge Syers Florents Madeleine Sajers better known as Medzh Sajers was born in 1887 and died on September, 9th, This English skater was the first woman in figure skating and the first woman to be world champion, and Olympic champion too! The Olympic medal that Medzh won was in 1908 at the age of 27 years, a record still held by her today! The greatest adult Olympic champion of the womens figure skating world.
