Ingredients: 2 cups cake flour; 1cup sugar; ½ cup soft butter; 2 eggs; ½ cup milk; ½ teaspoon salt; 2 spoons baking powder; 1 teaspoon vanilla; ½ cup sultana. Instructions: Put all the ingredients in a large bowl and beat well for two-three minutes. Bake in a cake pan for 30 minutes at 350º F. After cooling decorate with fresh fruit and whipped cream.
Ingredients: 400 g. potatoes; 125 g flour; 40 g butter or margarine; 40g grated cheese; salt. Instructions: 1. Peel the potatoes and slice them. 2. Put the potatoes in a saucepan with some water and a bit of salt and boil them for 20 minutes. 3. Mash the potatoes. 4. Put the mashed potatoes, the flour and the butter or margarine into a bowl and mix them with a fork. 5. Make 12 potato cakes with the mixture 1 cm thick. 6. Fry the potatoes in a frying pan until they are brown on both sides. 7. Cover the cakes with grated cheese. Put them in a dish and keep then warm in the oven.
175 ml. milk 10 gr. sugar 1/2 -banana 65 gr.-other fresh fruit 50 gr. vanilla ice-cream. Mix all the ingredients until the mixture is frothy.
Ingredients: 100 g flour; 1 egg; 250 ml milk; oil; salt; lemon; sugar. Instruction: 1. Put flour, salt, sugar and milk into a bowl. 2. Mix them with a fork. This mixture is called batter.
Ingredients: Litre kvas ; 1 cucumber ; 2 hard – boiled eggs ; 100g boiled beef ; 2-3 boiled potatoes; 50g lean ham; 100g spring onions. Ingredients: Spring onions and cucumber(s) are washed and sliced. So is boiled beef and ham. Hard-boiled eggs are cut large. Add oiled and cat potatoes. Put in a bowl; add kvas, salt to taste. It` s better to have kvas sour. If its sweet you can put a slice of lemon. Before serving okroshka it` s recommended to keep it in a cool place for two hours. Okroshka is served with thick sour cream, cut parsley and dill.
Ingredients: Eggs-3 Margarine-135gr. Sugar-135gr. Flour-255gr. Baking powder-10gr. Currants-150gr. Mixed candied fruits-150gr.Soak the candied fruits and the currants for approximately 2 hours in the fruit tea. Cut the margarine into cubes of approximately 2x3 cm. Put the ingredients into the blender jar except the fruits and currants, place the blade into the bowl, mixed thoroughly. Add the fruits and the currants and mix until the fruits and currants are distributed evenly through the dough. Bake the cake at 180 degrees for minutes.
