Walt Disney and his studio in Hollywood Do you like cartoons? Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Pluto…. Walt Disney is their father. Note : Walt Disney is a US film maker and animator, a pioneer of family entertainment.

Walt Disney established his own studio in1923. Note: Hollywood is a district in the city of Los Angeles, California; the centre of the US film industry from 1911, from of legendary film studios such as Paramount, Columbia Pictures, Disney and others. His films

His first Mickey Mouse cartoons appeared in By January 1930 W. Disney had created 12 Mickey Mouse cartoons. In London, Madam Tussauds museum exhibited Mickey in wax. Walt made many nature films, films with real actors. Among them are The Shaggy Dog, The Absent- minded Professor, Swiss Family Robinson.

The first color cartoon film is Flowers and Trees. The studio made feature- length animated films, including Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1938).

Disneyland and Disneyworld Disneyland was Walts biggest success. Note: Disneyland is the most favourite of childrens attractions, 25 miles south- east of downtown Los Angeles. This famous world of make- believe provides rides through the jungle and under the sea, riders into the future and into the pirates lairs. Disneyworld appeared in1971 in Florida. Disneyland and Disneyworld are the best places for children and parents to share pleasant time in one anothers company.
