План урока: 1) Организационный этап Озвучить тему урока, чем будем заниматься. 2) Речевая зарядка (p1, p2, p3…) Вспомнить лексику и неправильные глаголы в Past Simple 3) Аудирование (p1, p2, p3…) Настроить детей на восприятие и воспроизведение иноязычной речи 4) Составление истории из отрывков текста (work in groups) Развитие логического мышления 5) Работа с текстом (T – p1, p2, p3…, work in groups) Чтение и ответы на вопросы по общему содержанию текста, развитие навыков чтения и говорения с опорой на предложенную ситуацию 6) Создание сказок из словосочетаний и говорение (work in groups) Составление сказок из предложенных словосочетаний, устное воспроизведение. Развитие догадки. 7) Домашнее задание 8) Заключительный этап Оценка работы каждой из групп. Выставление отметок.

Ход урока 1) Introduction Greeting (Hello, my dear children…) T: Whats the date today, P1? P1: Today is the 22 nd of December. Today is Thursday. T. Who is absent today, P1? P1: … T: Thank you. Today our topic is «Fairy Tales». We are going to listen, read and discuss a lot of interesting stories. But first, lets revise some words that would help us during the lesson. 2) Warming-up (irregular verbs) T shows the cards – children answer (T – P1, P2, P3…)
3) Listening T: We are going to listen to some story. I ask you to work individually. Ill give you the pieces of paper where you can see 4 parts of the story and 4 pictures. You should listen and put the parts of the story in the right order and match the pictures with the parts. Listening T: Now lets check. Who is ready? (T – P1) T: Well done!
4) Making up stories T: Lets have a look at the screen. You can see the names of different fairy-tales, which we are going to discuss today. Listen and repeat after me. And now Ill give each group 6 pieces of paper. You should guess and put this parts in the right order, so that they could make up a story. Then look at the slide and choose the suitable title for the story. I give you 5 minutes. Children work in groups, then T. checks each of the groups. T: Great job!
5) Reading and answering questions T: Open your students books at p. 59. Lets do exercise 31. P1, read the task, please. P1: Read the story. Answer: Did the Wolf eat the sheep? T: P2, start reading the story, please. P3, continue reading… Who can answer the question? P4: No, he didnt. T: Thats right. So lets answer the other questions from exercise 32. T – P1, P2, P3… T: Now look at exercise 35. P2, read the task, please. P2: Look at the pictures and tell the new happy ending to the story. Use these words… T: So, I ask you to work in groups and make up the new ending of the story. One of each group should be able to tell it. I give you 5 minutes to prepare. The pupils from each group tell their endings of the story.
6) Creating, speaking, guessing Now, I think, you are ready to make up your own stories based on famous fairy tales. Work in groups, please. Ill give each group a piece of paper with some words and phrases. You should use them to create a story, but dont forget to use Past Simple!!! And choose someone in your group to draw a small picture of the story. Then one of each group will tell the story. The presentation should be maximum 2 minutes. And other groups will have to guess what is the name of your fairy tale. On the screen you can see the variants of the titles. I give you 10 minutes to prepare. Children work in groups. Then one from each group speaks. Other groups guess the right variants of the titles. T: Well done, my dear!
7) Home task Take your record books, please, and write down your home task. Your home task will be to make a project Lets write a fairy tale at p.64. Dont forget to draw a picture of the story. 8) Conclusion Today weve read and revised a lot of fairy tales. Youve done a great job! (Marks for class work)
