12 Meet a typical Russian family of the Ivanovs. There are four people in the family.

13 This man is the father. His name is Oleg Petrovich. He is tall and slim. He has black hair and brown eyes. The man is clever, strong and inventive. Oleg Petrovich is a computer programmer.

14 This woman is the mother. Her name is Ludmila Sergeevna. She is slim and neither tall nor short. She has red curly hair and brown eyes. Ludmila Sergeevna is kind and smart. She is a dentist.

15 Oleg Petrovich and Ludmila Sergeevna are a husband and a wife. They are parents who have two children: a son and a daughter.

16 The boys name is Dima. He is a teenager. The boy studies at school and does sports in the sports club. He looks like his dad. Dima is tall and strong.

17 The girls name is Sveta. She studies at school and takes dancing classes in the School of Dances. Sveta is slim. She isnt tall. She looks like her mum.

18 The brother and the sister get on well with each other. They never quarrel.

19 The Ivanovs love animals. They have two pets: a dog and a cat. The pets are family members.

20 The cats name is Grey because its really grey in colour. It is seven. Grey is funny. It likes to play. It also likes to sleep.

21 The dogs name is Fluffy ( Пушистик ). It is also grey in colour. Fluffy is five. Its very clever and funny. Fluffy likes to play with Grey. They are friends.

22 The Ivanovs live in the country. They have a big house and a garden in the country. The house isnt far from the city. The bedrooms and the bathrooms are upstairs. The kitchen, the sitting-room and the library are downstairs.

23 Ludmila Sergeevna loves flowers. She grows many flowers in the garden. There are a lot of flowers in the house too. The daughter helps her to water the flowers.

24 The Ivanovs have a modern car. It is red. They bought the car three years ago. They go to the city, on picnics by car.

26 Oleg Petrovich likes cars. He can repair his car himself. The son often helps him to wash the car.

27 The Ivanovs love nature. Sometimes they go on picnics. They like to spend time at the riverside near the forest.

28 The Ivanovs are a friendly and hospitable family. They love, respect and help each other. They are happy together. back
