What is the subculture? Presently the youth is united in groups on interests and sights. There are groups of punks, skinheads, ravers, hippies, bikers and other. In my opinion, the subculture is a movement of the young men keen by non-standard ideas, original behavior and appearance.

Pluss and minuses of subcultures. I consider, that in subculture there are positive and negative features. One of positive features is dialogue of youth among themselves. Often in subculture young men are engaged in music, creation graffiti, studying of dances. The subculture is accompanied often with negative features: drugs, aggression, violence, racism, hooliganism.

Bad habits. I wish to tell about bad habits in detail. Teenagers in subcultures start to smoke, take alcohol, to accept drugs because they wish to relax, forget about the problems: at school, with parents, with money; to plunge into the illusive world. First they think, that can stop at any moment the habits, but gradually they get in neurological dependence.

Bad habits. It often leads to their psychological illnesses, to suicide, to death. I support a healthy way of life, to not use drugs, to go in for sports.

Values. Young men in subculture wish to show off, to prove to be, shock associates, attention of others. But for other young men formation and good health are values. I one of them. In the modern world it is necessary to have good formation and to be in the good form. I think, that for many people of the world the main value is health.

Punks. A young person who dresses in a shocking way to express his or her identity. They have brightly colored hair and wears metal chains. The person is thought to rebel against the society. The music is aggressive. They reject everything.

Skinheads. They cut their hair shorter than others do. The majority of them are working class, patriotic, reggae and football fanatics, and very uninterested in politics. Most wear tight trousers and heavy boots and are usually regarded as violent and aggressive

Rapers. Young men which carry wide trousers, is frequent at them long hair, carry various circuits. They love music in style hip-hop. Many rapers do not love punks and skinhead.

My opinion. At our school there are not enough teenagers who belong to any subculture. At us only punks, skinheads, rapers. I do not belong to any subculture. I adhere to classical style of the behavior, traditional sights at world around, in appearance I create the style.
