The monetary unit of the UAE is the dirham (Dh.). The dirham is divided into 100 fills, and its exchange rate is approximately 0.28 U.S. dollar. Dirham coins are issued in denominations of one dirham and 50, 25, 10 and 5 fills. Dirham notes are issued in denominations of 5, 10, 50, 100, 200 and 500. Import and export of national and foreign currencies are allowed without restrictions. All means of payment in the form of Bank Notes Travel Cheques or Credit Cards are available.
