I am looking for my great-grandpa… And now, Artyom, look for the name of your great-grandfather, said my grandpa. I looked at the names and read, "Medvedev Petr Phyodorovich..."

I laid flowers on the obelisk. We were silent for a long time, and then my granddad began to tell about his father, who had gone through the war from the beginning till the end. He took part in the Battle of Kursk and also in the Battle of Moscow, liberated many towns and villages from the Nazis, for several times he was wounded and was treated in field hospitals.

Medvedev Petr Phedorovich My great-grandfather took part in the capture of Berlin. He was awarded the Order of Alexander Nevsky. I think, he was courageous and bold. I am very proud of my great-grandfather.
