The Town Ocher On the seventh of June in 1759 empress Elizaveta Petrovna allowed count A.C. Stroganov to build metalworks on the river Ocher. This date is reputed to be the birthday of Ocher. On 19 of June in 1950 Ocher got the status of a town. The beauty of the town, its wonderful house-buildings with wooden and cast-iron ornaments and charming landscapes attract many people. Unfortunately, at present the organisation of public services and amenities on the streets of Ocher and public transport system leave much to be desired. But our day will come, as the saying goes. As far as our citys guests are concerned, they can see with their own eyes that Ocher is well worth a visit.

Museum The museum is named by A.B Necvetaev. The stone building was constructed in 19 century. It used to be a chef mongering office of the metalwork's, a school and now it is a museum of local lore- one of the eldest public museums in Russia. The museum contains a lot of ancient things and very interesting exhibits pangolins of Permskij period. Its one of a kind! Youd be nuts to miss a chance to see its collections! BACK BACK BACK BACK

Monuments The monuments 2 the heroes of the Great Patriotic War was opened in There are 2 stone stabs with the names of those who died fighting against fashists. Every year there is a parade on 9 May. People honor veterans of the war, who sacrificed their lives for the sake of mankind. The monument to ships boys was put on the dam in This monument honours young people from Ocher who died in the Great Patriotic war. The monument to the Red Army Soldiers was opened in It honours those who died in the Civil War.

Pond and Island, Birch Alley The Pond and the island – the diamond of Ocher. It was made by serves in for metalwork's. The dam was built 5 km far from Luzhkovo on the joint point of 4 rivers. Now the pond attracts a lot of people. Youd be nuts to miss a chance to see it, to sunbathe there and to spend a nice time on the island. Birch alley. Now alley was planted in 1883 by school children and their teacher Golubev A.T.. The Birch alley is the best place for lovers. Nothing can beat a walk there with your sweetheart!

Michael-Archangel Church The building was constructed and blessed in Handmade iron cast fence and gate attract a lot of tourists. The building was made a club in the soviet period But now it is a religious centre and a marvelous sight.

Sundial N. A. Maltsev advised to make a sundial in Ocher and P.A. Vologdin worked out a project of 1843 – The Sundial was placed in 1885 near the metalwork's. A. B.
