The aim of our project is to tell our classmates and then- little school-children about our capital and places of interests.
Moscow is the capital of the Russian Federation. Moscow was founded in 1147 by Yuriy Dolgorukiy. It attracts tourists from all over the world.
Moscow is known for its beautiful old cathedrals and churches. Some of them date from the 15 th to 17 th centuries.
The Tretyakov Gallery There are many museums, theaters and galleries in Moscow. For example, the Tretyakov Gallary. It houses a unique collection off Russian painters.
The Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts The Pushkin Museum of Fine A rts contains a big collection of antiques and a well- known collection of modern foreign painters including Impressionists.
The Bolshoi theater Is the famous theater in Moscow. Many people visit it every day.
Moscow circus and Dolphinairium Children and their parents like to visit circus and dolphinarium. They enjoy seeing animals and clowns.
The Kremlin The oldest part of Moscow is the Kremlin. This is the main tourist attraction in Moscow. The Kremlin is situated in Red Square. In 1556 a small settlement of Moscow was surrounded with a wooden wall, and became a Kremlin.
There are twenty towers on the territory of the Kremlin. The Spasskaya Tower is the symbol of Russia and Moscow. It has a famous clock;one can hear chimes on the radio.
The Tsar bell and Tsar Cannon On the territory of the Kremlin you can see the Tsar Bell and the Tsar Cannon. They are the biggest cannon and bell in the world.
During the Great Patriotic War there was a fight for Moscow. These are monuments of that time. Defence of Moscow of 1941
We are proud of Moscow We are proud of Moscow, because it is the capital of our country. We are proud of Moscow, because it has many popular places of interests. We are proud of Moscow, because many famous people were born here.
Moscow is the best city in the world. It is worth visiting.
