I am Valeriya. I am 11. I study at the 5 grade.

We have a lot of interesting subjects at school: the Russian Language, Literature, Mathematics, History and others.

My favorite subject is English. Nowadays the English is the language of culture, politics, and international relations.

Also we shouldnt forget that English is the language of great English and American literature. We all know such great writers like William Shakespeare and Daniel Defoe.

I learn a lot of words. I like to read newspapers and magazines in English, listen to English songs and teaching CDs. Our teacher of English is very experienced. She likes her subject. During our lessons we read, write, ask questions, do different exercises on the smart board.

I hope I will speak English very well. The knowledge of English helps people from different countries to communicate with each other and travel.

I think that at the present time the knowledge of a foreign language is necessary for every person.
