Syzran was founded by Grigory Kozlovsky in And now Syzran is 327 years old. The history of our town is connected with the history of our country. So the citizens participated in 2 great events: the Great October Social Revolution and the Great Patriotic War. There is an eternal fire in the center of our town. This is the monument to all those who died for life in our country and in the world. You can see flowers on holidays at the foot of the monument.

The history of my town was rather peaceful, but in 1906 there was a great fire in Syzran. It destroyed a lot of wooden buildings and people began to build stone houses. But there were no wars in Syzran. It wasn`t conquered and occupied by enemy.

Many years ago Syzran was a little merchant town, but now it is one of the main industrial centers in Samara Region. It develops rapidly every day. There are a lot of cultural and intertaining centers in it. But government tries to make our town more beautiful and modern.

One of the famous buildings in Syzran is the Spasskaya tower. It was built in It situated in the center of the town. It is a very beautiful and old building. The Spasskaya tower and Kremlin are the symbols of Syzran. Syzran also has different modern and beautiful buildings. One of such buildings is House of Young peoples Organizations. This building is an example of a modern architecture. It was founded in 2009 and built of glass and bricks. So it looks rather unusual. I advise you to visit this building and square near the Spasskaya tower.
