I want to tell you about my famous fellow countryman German Travnikov. German Alekseyevich Travnikov is a Soviet and Russian artist.
German Travnikov was born in 1937 in Mekhonskoye village, Kurgan region. He was a very talented child. He started drawing at the age of three. Family

Since 1964 he has participated in art exhibitions and joined the Union of Artists in His first personal exhibition was held in Kurgan in 1970 and there have been about twenty exhibitions in different cities of Russia and Poland - in Chelyabinsk and Sverdlovsk, Tyumen and Moscow, in towns of Poland.
In 1982 he was awarded the title of Honored Artist of the Russian Soviet Federal Socialist Republic.
For half a century of intense creative activity German Alekseyevich has participated in 150 exhibitions, held over 50 personal exhibitions in the Urals, Siberia, many cities in the country.
The artist successfully combines creative and teaching activities. He conducts master classes, providing practical and methodological assistance to young artists, teachers and students of educational institutions, students, schools of the Urals.
His works are in the funds of many museums and picture galleries of Russia, in the funds of state museums of Poland and Bulgaria, in galleries and private collections of other countries, such as Bulgaria, Australia, the USA, Argentina, Japan and others.
